One of my biggest problems is that I am lousy in the kitchen.

So to get this skill together I invite you to come and share your experience and knowledge by coming into my kitchen and cooking with me, teaching me along the way how to prepare and cook great tasty and healthy meals.

I’ll shoot and edit them and put them up on the Saving Alan You Tube channel to share with everyone.

Here’s the sessions we’ve completed so far;

Episode 7

Nick K came over and instructed me how to prepare Chicken Cacciatore, worked out a treat and has become a lunch time favourite.

Episode 4

The beautiful Nicola came over and showed me how to put together a Beef Stew, slow cooked. I have made it a few times on my own since and it has worked a treat. If you have any great recipes you can come over and teach me, let me know, I need more variety to stay on track.

Episode 2

Chicken Madras Curry, with Pumpkin. Great dish that has become a favourite. Only the second dish I have ever cooked from a recipe on my own. My confidence is up, watch out!

Episode 1

My very first effort at cooking from a recipe. After a hell of a time finding a korma curry paste we finally got to shoot it. It worked out beautifully and has become a staple for lunches.
